Six long weeks of boots, coats, toques and scarves. Six weeks of shoveling. Six weeks of freezing while waiting for the bus or walking. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\" data-blogger-escaped-style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">What if the groundhog came out of hiding and started laughing? Laughing to tell us that HAHAHA! Winter&#8217;s not over yet, folks! Haven&#8217;t you realized that there are still long, cold weeks ahead? But you can still laugh about it! <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\" data-blogger-escaped-style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">Tomorrow evening, I&#8217;ll be leading the laughter yoga session at the AHA! Club de rire de Gatineau. Guess what my exercise program will consist of? We&#8217;re going to laugh about winter! <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\" data-blogger-escaped-style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">What would you do if you laughed? Here are my suggestions: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\" data-blogger-escaped-style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">-The laughter of cold hands<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\" data-blogger-escaped-style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">-Laugh at winter sports (and here, the whole gamut is on offer: skating, skiing, snowshoeing&#8230;).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\" data-blogger-escaped-style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">-The laughter of a cold engine (or one that refuses to start)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\" data-blogger-escaped-style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">-The laughter of shovelling&#8230; intensive because of the snow falling really fast<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\" data-blogger-escaped-style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">-The laughter of snowball throwing<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\" data-blogger-escaped-style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\" data-blogger-escaped-style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">What about you?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\" data-blogger-escaped-style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">Even though we may be upset, laughing will help us get through it! No control over the weather my friends, so let&#8217;s deal with it! <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\" data-blogger-escaped-style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">You&#8217;ll feel better after you&#8217;ve laughed about it!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\" data-blogger-escaped-style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">Laughter, joy and health<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\" data-blogger-escaped-style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">Linda<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This morning, I was hearing comments from several people bemoaning the harshness of winter, which they feel will never end.
