Laughter Yoga was developed in 1995…
Today, laughter yoga is used in many different contexts and can provide a valuable tool in work settings, associations and organizations as well as in hospitals or at home.
Laughter leads to addiction! Laughing can develop into a strong addiction! Once hooked, you want more! And once you learn about all the health benefits, it has just the effect you need!
Contraindications
In some specific instances, laughter yoga might not be recommended. Those suffering from serious and uncontrolled health issues, hernias, angina, eye problems or those who have recently undergone surgery should not attempt to do the exercises without consulting a doctor. You could try laughing softly or simply smile. Use common sense: no pressure, no new pain.
