Episode Fadi Brahimcha – The importance of sharing and celebrating
My name is Linda Leclerc and I’m the founder of the Laughter Yoga School and the HAHA Sisterhood. Welcome to the joy element, the feel-good and inspiring walks. This episode is brought to you by the Laughter Yoga School, which offers you a host of themes for your activities, conferences, workshops and tools to rediscover the pleasure of laughing at will.
Fadi Brahim Chah. For me, he’s a rock star in his field, so there’s really marketing in the sense of talking about a project with him. It’s quite an experience. I know a thing or two about it, because it’s to him that I owe a number of things, from the founding of the laughter yoga school to my maxi rire program.
The term comes from him. He sees possibilities where I saw nothing, he thinks big and he achieves big. Like I said, he’s a rock star in his field. I’ll let you listen to his episode and discover his element of joy. Bonjour Félibrée Une charte ça va bien, ça va bien et toi et nous deux. We’ve just finished a business meeting, and it’s been very, very, very stimulating.
Très je vraiment je suis Briand Moi-même Time is not the right word in French, but it’s just to say that I’m very happy. Fadi, are you a company director? Yes, you’ve had your own business for several years now. Fifteen years, fifteen years full-time, yes, easily fifteen years. OK, time flies, you were barely eight.
When and how this enemy? He said he works in the wonderful world you call multimedia or digital marketing. So it’s very very vast and the potential can be pretty infinite when you’ve got a budget. Yes, and so you, I know I’ve known you for a long time and I know you’re going through all sorts of phases.
You told us something earlier. You said there were times when you were going to make presentations to customers. Out was having a bit of an anxiety attack. We’ve had a long time. That’s my first question. What do you do? When you’re really stressed, what do you do to relax, to allow yourself to function, to slow down a bit?
The first thing I did was exercise. exercise put a lot. Exercise helps me a lot to scold myself, so walking in the morning, so every morning, I walk, I run, it doesn’t matter, is at home, you can a little bit matter. Otherwise, at lunchtime too, I do a fifteen- to twenty-minute exercise session that has lots of little explicable all sorts of things like that.
That helps me a lot. And what else for Me to calm down or relax. Actually, I like it. I like to watch, for example, a program that I’ve seen several times before, that reassures me. For example, I don’t know, a show that I’ve seen many times before, like Crown.
I’m going to watch an episode that I’ve seen two hundred times because it’s like a reference, it’s reassuring, I know the lines. I know it by heart. So that brings me back when there are. But I have less and less of these periods when I feel there’s exceptional anxiety.
Very large, deliverable quantities, it’s something to deliver. As Lina says, close to the fact that you’re not quite ready, it’s all about putting things into perspective a bit, because I’m less and less worried about something being deliverable, because I tell myself if we’re not ready to do it.
I prefer to negotiate by saying there’s a reason why we’re not presenting or whatever. So it’s easy for me to play things down. That helps a lot. So putting things into perspective, seeing someone else, taking a step to the side, yes yes, and then it’s actually good to take a step to the side.
There’s a friend of mine who also owns a company in a related field. It’s in video production and he said You know when you get to fifty, after fifty, I say yes, it’s nice to see. More than fifty, I say why are you taking Robert out? He tells me because you can tell someone try not then Pita the right.
There’s a kind of Ta dame that settles in after you’ve turned fifty, which makes you play things down much more quickly. I have the impression that we’re able to say a little more with a lot more serenity.
I don’t feel like it, or to be honest, we’re going to need more time. Or maybe we’re not experiencing as much drama and anguish as we did in our forties, I think. We know how to impose things that are a bit contrived, a bit fabricated. And then you, I know that like travel, then travel to places that from the Netherlands is cuisine so that’s already.
You also use a lot. Recently, I haven’t talked about cooking because I’ve been putting it aside for other reasons. But I didn’t want to eat no, not at all because I overdid it. You see, for other reasons and actually the reason. Cooking is a very relaxing element.
Why is that? Because you have to focus on the food. You focus on the mix of flavors. We concentrate on a lot of things, and I have the impression that because we concentrate so much on the elements in front of us, it’s a very physical thing. so we don’t think about what’s distressing us.
Reality Yes, it’s true that you have to concentrate. Many were cutting. Cutting something focuses on the form is not thinking about my God. What’s going to happen with this file? No, slice the chilli piece. That’s what really turns me on in the kitchen, is being able to combine flavors.
So now I’m concentrating more. It’s what the right combination is. It’s very creative and what you put on your tone. What do you call an instagram profile on my little Instagram blog or my instagram profile, it’s okay, it’s called mastered mix, but it’s always beautiful. Sometimes you’d make little videos with stuff too, and it fascinated me because I’d never have thought or imagined mixing it with that.
And for me, it’s my passion around mixity, it’s about being able to combine flavors that previously weren’t necessarily recognized or together is the mixity of flavors. It’s a bit of a celebration of diversity, both cultural and otherwise. Yes, it’s celebrated a lot. The diversity of foods, the diversity of flavors, textures, that’s what I was going to say because you have them in color.
And I still think it’s beautiful, so you see, that’s why I thought we weren’t talking. And yet yes, you’re right, but maybe it’s because at the moment, it’s less present, but that doesn’t mean it’s not coming back, it’s cyclical. Sometimes it’s more sport, sometimes it’s more travel.
I’ve traveled recently, I’ve traveled twice on his trip and not for that long. It’s been a lot more resourceful. Do you ever have days when you feel a bit sad? Yes, yes, moody, more melancholy, it can be, it can be melancholy, it can be. What do you do to cheer yourself up?
of the first thing I accept. So if one day I need to put a little work in my book, I do it. And that’s good, because usually, when you do it after an hour or two, I’ve done it, I’ve moved on to something else, because somewhere, maybe you need it a bit, so I know to accept it.
And if not, it’s a little bit of reading to talk to a friend, it helps enormously. But the first thing I do when I’m feeling gloomy is to accept it because it happens, it’s a bit, it’s a bit normal. Listening goes through a sort of phase of all sorts of things. Grieving job losses, touching things, separating things.
And you can’t run away from these days. It’s because of the shapes, it can happen, but we work in the morning, that’s the reason. It’s OK to do it that way. And what would you be? Feat d’Ibrahim Chatonnay Les mangeoires? What puts you in a state of joy in life? Yeah, that’s a very good question, I know, you know what?
For me, the greatest joy is sharing a meal with friends. That’s the greatest joy of being around a table. I still have the image of Fellini, the director whose key moment in a shoot was when everyone was eating around the table, at lunchtime or in the evening.
during the shoot. That’s my number one joy too, is that in the family, you’re very e meal. Yes, in the family, with the, it’s not just siblings and people, friends, tents, it’s extended family. I know that for me, when I think, when you say we don’t meal with my cousin, it’s very yes, it’s joyful.
Then my cousin, who’s just visiting, we’ve been doing it every night. Yes, I thank you very much said it’s a pleasure, it’s a pleasure.
