Guest of Mike the Chameleon

I was invited by Mike the Chameleon for lunch.

WOW! I had a great experience. And I learned a new trick.

Having the chance to be invited by a guy who has 10MILLION subscribers on TikTok, that’s something!!!

The scope of Mike the Chameleon’s teachings is impressive.

He records language vignettes to teach English, and even I, who am fairly bilingual, learn something! HAHA!

But the way he approaches the issues he raises in his videos is really different. He doesn’t take himself seriously! He’s having fun and playing. It’s obvious he’s having fun doing what he does. And it’s probably to his warm personality and playful manner that he owes his great success.

Always respectful. Never inappropriate, vulgar or offensive. He succeeds in imparting knowledge with good humor.

I love it!

A few days ago, he made a video saying he’d reached 10 million subscribers. It blew my mind! For me, who has 194,000 subscribers (my friends all tell me that’s HUGE!), the notion of reaching 10 million people just blows me away!

I think he’s terrific and wish him long life, happiness and inspiration to continue doing what he does so masterfully well.

You know, don’t you, that it’s easier to learn when you’re in a good mood? He certainly does!
