Our apologies!

Oh dear… My apologies this morning!

Slow wake-up today. I worked late last night. It’s gray. All is hushed and quiet. A good time to take my time over breakfast.

Until I glanced at my e-mail and saw that a barely started draft had just been published (God knows by whom?) and sent to subscribers of my articles! HORROR! (Here you can see that the panic button has started flashing red).

But on top of that, this unkind person inserted a disreputable link in the sentence!

I invite you to DELETE this e-mail without clicking on this link! It’s a nasty SPAM.

We’re working now to fix the problem and make sure it doesn’t happen again.

But it got me thinking… When we’re working to make our world a nicer, smiler, more peaceful place, when we’re really working hard and wholeheartedly, when there’s so much beauty in life and so much love too, how do you explain that someone chooses to dedicate their time to doing what goes in the other direction? Destroy and harm…

Let’s imagine that this energy could be put to good use… That would be so much better!

An error of judgment on the part of the person who takes time to destroy rather than help build. Error of judgment because of a lack of awareness, no doubt… Forgive… and send love…

But CORRECT! And that’s what we’re rushing to do!

Once again, our apologies and go about your day with a smile!

Laughter, joy and health

Linda

Because you’ve been asking me that for a long time!

That’s it! I say yes (finally!), because you’ve been asking me for a long time!

It’s the holiday season… so it’s the perfect time for gift-giving!

People have been writing to me for a long time to find out when I’ll be offering workshops for the general public in Montreal, and well, it’s on the calendar for 2019!

I’m offering four (4) Laughter Yoga programs in Montreal this winter!

Not one, not two, but four Sunday afternoons spent laughing together! Filling up with good humor for the week ahead. And because I feel like it, as a bonus I’ll be offering a little introduction to the JOYFIT method at each session (excellent for boosting our immune system, since we’re activating the movement of lymph in our bodies!) Depending on the group, I’ll also be adding “HAHA Sisterhood” capsules and bubbles! That’s what I’m talking about, folks!

I had the joy of completing my BrainGym 101 training with Manon Lefebvre of “L’équilibre en mouvement”. Today, she’s offering me the use of her beautiful premises to share these fun and beneficial moments with you this winter.

Why Sunday?

Because it’s the perfect time to build momentum for the week. Many people tell me they’re gloomy and depressed on Sundays – the weekend’s over and we’re getting ready to go back to work on Monday morning… But by laughing our hearts out on Sundays, we charge our cells with smiling, positive energy! The perfect combination for avoiding the blues!

You can take just one session, or all four (in fact, this is the option I suggest if you want to install healthy, happy laughter habits). The effect is guaranteed: SMILE AND RELAX!

You must register in advance, however, and can do so online in the École boutique or by calling 819-210-5057 or Manon at 514-794-1497.

I don’t know about you, but I’d jump at the chance to spend 6 hours together laughing, laughing, laughing and relaxing as the winter months set in!

See you in Outremont in January?

If I’m ready to make the drive to you, I hope you’ll feel like getting out of the house to join me! hahaha!

Laughter, joy and health

Linda

World Laughter Day, May 6, 2018

Message from Linda Leclerc, founder of the Laughter Yoga School

Nothing works as quickly on our state of mind as laughter. When we laugh together, we can’t go on fighting or staying angry! Laughter is a wonderful universal language that has the potential to unite humanity. Smile at someone, and chances are they’ll smile back – and you’ll feel great!

Every person possesses this wealth and treasure, which is a renewable resource! The more we laugh, the more we want to laugh and the easier we laugh!

In darker times, we can remember that the sun is still shining. Laughter is like the sun, bringing good cheer and light into our lives.

Even today, we have a great need to laugh. The world is going through turbulent times, and our sense of helplessness and insecurity is growing.

It’s not the first time we’ve experienced a difficult period. Ups and downs are part of life. Quality of life doesn’t depend on what happens to us, but rather on what we do when something happens: how we react. We can’t change external circumstances in a day. The easiest thing we can do is change the way we feel inside, so it’s time to laugh for no reason – to light up our hearts and unite us.

Laughing helps us cultivate a positive mental attitude and develop love, forgiveness, generosity and compassion. These are the virtues we need for peace and harmony in our world.

I dream of the day when we’ll all be able to LAUGH – without judging – simply by letting our hearts open up to joy and life, thinking of all the good we do by this simple exercise. The good we do to ourselves, of course, but also the good we do to all humanity. The more we laugh, the happier we feel, and the more our joy reflects on those around us.

Today, all over the world, people will be laughing to join the great planetary community of laughers… making a concrete gesture to help reduce fears and tensions through the joyful sounds of laughter. An ambitious goal, but an achievable one, since RIRE UNIT!

Whether you’re alone or with others, today take the time to LAUGH for at least a minute (look at your watch if you have to)! Open your arms to the sky and laugh! You’ll be part of a tremendous movement that’s sending waves of love around the world.

I wish everyone a day filled with smiles and LAUGHTER! The kind that comes from the heart and spills out to those around us. The kind that makes our faces shine and our eyes sparkle, that makes us more tolerant and gentle with ourselves and others. It’s the kind we gradually rediscover through practice, and which helps us to live more serenely, with a lighter heart… I wish us HEARTY LAUGHTER!

And it’s LAUGHTER that I’m proposing to you too. Stretch out your arms towards the sky and send your laughter very high… very softly. Do the HEART LAUGH for a few minutes during the day.

And why not every day?

Laughter, joy and health

Your HAHA Sister, Linda

P.S. Join me on Sunday, May 6 at noon Quebec time, 6 p.m. Paris time, for 30 minutes of laughter on ZOOM.
